Forte and Tablada was responsible for the Stage 0 application, topographic surveying, environmental, engineering design and construction observation for the construction that included roadway/shoulder mill and overlay to restore and rehabilitate the deteriorating asphalt pavement. This improvement between LA 16 and LA 1031 (Hatchell Lane) is important to meeting the transportation needs of the local community and facilitate a section of roadway which runs between Denham Springs Freshman High School and Denham Springs High School. Project also involved cross walk studies for multiple crosswalks between the two schools and realigning the road slightly to improve the sight distance and Maple St. This project was successful in receiving funding.
