Forte and Tablada, Inc. is responsible for Stage 0 service, topographic surveying, environmental, engineering design and construction observation for this project. Forte and Tablada provided CE&I services for repairs and improvements of 1.786 miles of road located on Forrest Delatte Road, from its junction with Route LA 16 to its junction with Rouge LA 1026. The work associated with this project includes clearing and grubbing, removal of a timber bridge, drainage structures, milling asphalt concrete, pavement patching, pavement widening, asphalt concrete overlay, precast concrete piles, concrete slab span bridge, and related work. Construction will include patching, overlay, widening, subsurface drainage (where required for safety), replacement of existing cross drains (where required), and addition of guardrails and pads to an existing concrete bridge. The existing timber bridge will be replaced with a concrete span bridge and guardrails with pads will be added to improve safety. This roadway is a main route to many residences between LA 1026 (Juban Road) and LA 447 (Walker North Road), as well as an alternate route to I-12. 100% of the work is being performed in Louisiana.
